- Nuno dedicates monthly award to Forest fanbase
- Head Coach named MOTM
- Supporters invited to The City Ground to accept award as a collective
Having been awarded the Manager of the Month for the third time this season, Head Coach Nuno Espírito Santo invited supporters down to The City Ground to accept the award as a collective.
Around 150 Forest fans from supporter groups and the local community were given the opportunity to come to The City Ground for a photo with the first team and the coaching staff to celebrate together.
Since arriving on Trentside, Nuno has reiterated the importance of the connection between the supporters and the team, a bond that is an essential part of the Club’s identity.

The team has enjoyed success away from home in the 2024/25 campaign, driven in large parts by the wonderful travelling support, following the team up and down the country in force.
The team’s pre-match huddle on away turf takes place beneath the Forest faithful, reinforcing the unity and connection which helps push the team.
At The City Ground, the unique atmosphere generated by the fans has been fundamental to the team’s form. The positive league result against Manchester United a few days after the 120 minutes in Brighton was another example of how important the supporters are to the team.
In March, the two Premier League wins, at home against current champions Manchester City and in Suffolk against Ipswich, have led to Nuno winning the Manager of the Month award for the third time in one season.
On accepting the award, Nuno and his staff were insistent that supporters were recognised for their immense contribution so far this season.
Receiving the award in front of supporters, Nuno said: “This is an indication of the amazing support of our fans, at home and away. Everything that the players do on that pitch, here at The City Ground and away from home, is because of you. The extra runs, the extra tackles, the goals, everything is because of you. We cannot thank you enough for your support, this award is for you.”
