- Forest looking to return to winning ways
Nottingham Forest Netball take on Birmingham Panthers on Saturday at 6pm.
Forest’s debut season has been solid, with Chelsea Pitman’s side sitting fifth in the Netball Super League table heading into the clash in Worcester.
Forest will be looking to return to winning ways following last week’s 67-56 defeat against London Mavericks, after the Reds has claimed victory against reigning Super League champions Loughborough Lightning the previous week.
Captain Niamh Cooper will be looking to maintain Forest’s strong defensive strategies but ensure they take every opportunity to attack.
Birmingham Panthers will also be looking for a win following their loss to London Pulse at Worcester Areana on the April 13, Panthers will be looking to improve their defensive strategies.
Hannah Leighton and Natasha Pavelin will be the ones to watch after their show-stopping performances last match. Pavelin’s defensive techniques brought the crowd to their feet, after stepping in in the last crucial moments.
Forest must continue to defend the way they are but capitalise on those chances that could change the game overall.
