Forest progressed to the fourth round of the Emirates FA Cup with a 2-0 victory over Luton Town at The City Ground on Saturday afternoon.
Nuno made 11 changes to his side that beat Wolves in the Premier League 3-0 last time out, with Carlos Miguel handed a start in goal.
Willy Boly, Morato and Harry Toffolo made up the back three with Eric da Silva Moreira and Alex Moreno occupying the wing-back spots.
James Ward-Prowse partnered Ryan Yates in midfield, with Jota Silva and Ramón Sosa supporting Taiwo Awoniyi in attack.
The Reds started on the front foot and took the lead with five minutes of the first half remaining as Sosa’s inswinging cross was headed in by captain Yates.
Forest then doubled their lead on 68 minutes. Yates picked out Jota in-behind the Luton defence, with the forward driving forward and squaring for Sosa to apply the simplest of finishes.
But perhaps the biggest cheer of the afternoon came in the dying embers when, 147 days after sustaining an ankle injury against AFC Bournemouth, Danilo was introduced - the Brazilian replacing Ward-Prowse in midfield.
Forest withstood late pressure from Luton late on to safely progress into round four of the cup.
