Nottingham Forest is delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Megan Bell on a permanent deal.

The Northern Ireland international joins the Club on a deal until the end of the 2024/25 season from Scottish Women’s Premier League side Rangers.

Bell arrives at The City Ground having previously played for Hearts, Linfield and Championship side Durham.

The move across the border sees Bell reunite with Northern Ireland teammates Caragh Hamilton, Casey Howe and Nat Johnson.

Nottingham Forest Women Head Coach, Carly Davies, said: “Megan is an experienced international with tremendous potential. She has impressed us with her technical ability and attacking prowess from midfield areas. She has the ability to unlock defences with clever combinations, through passes and an eye for goal.

“I look forward to supporting her development and seeing how far we can develop her. Megan is an exciting young prospect with an exceptionally bright future.”

Upon signing, Bell added: “It means a lot to sign for Forest, it’s a massive club with massive ambition so I’m delighted to be here.

“I think I’m a very attack-minded player and I’d like to think I can make things happen; hopefully I can bring a bit of excitement with some goals and assists.”
