Anthony Elanga says Nottingham Forest’s quickfire goals at Portman Road was key to their 4-2 win over Ipswich Town in the Premier League this afternoon.

With the Reds leading after Nikola Milenković fired Forest into the lead on 35 minutes, Elanga netted twice in four minutes to put Forest three goals clear at half-time.

Ipswich managed to get on the scoresheet, but Jota’s strike three minutes from time underlined the Reds’ dominant performance in Suffolk.

Elanga was pleased with the three points but wants the team to keep their form going into the final games of the campaign.

“It’s a great win, it’s not easy to come here but it was important for us to start fast and I think we were really good in the first half.

“We were clinical and we hurt them in transitions. Credit to all the boys but we’ve got to keep it going because we want to finish the season as strongly as possible.

“I feel like I’ve got the engine to play in different positions, I just want to keep improving. It’s a credit to the staff and the players around me.

“We know how Ipswich are when they play at home and in the second half being 3-0 down they were going to try and come back.

“Many top teams have come here and struggled and the most important thing is to get the three points.
