Nottingham Forest will be looking to book a place in the semi-finals of the Emirates FA Cup when the Reds face Brighton & Hove Albion at the AMEX Stadium (kick-off 5.15pm).
Nuno Espírito Santo’s side beat Ipswich Town 5-4 on penalties in the fifth round of the competition after a 1-1 draw with the Tractor Boys over the course of 120 minutes at The City Ground.
Following that win in NG2, the Reds secured back-to-back wins in the Premier League before the international break with a 1-0 win Trentside against Manchester City before overcoming Ipswich seven days later 4-2 at Portman Road.
The Seagulls meanwhile, came from a goal down to record an extra time win against Newcastle United at St. James’ Park earlier this month to set up tomorrow’s quarter-final.
Before the international break, Fabian Hürzeler ‘s outfit picked up a Premier League point against City after recording a 2-1 home win against Fulham.
Tomorrow’s match will be the first FA Cup meeting between Forest and the Seagulls with the two sides only previously meeting in cup competition in the 1977/78 and 1986/87 League Cup campaigns.
