Chris Wood joined Nottingham Forest in January 2023 initially on loan from Newcastle United, before the deal became permanent the following summer.

Born in Auckland, Wood has enjoyed spells with Barnsley, Brighton, Birmingham City, Bristol City, Millwall, Leicester City, Burnley and Newcastle before his move to Trentside.

The 2024/25 saw Wood become Forest's all-time top Premier League goalscorer, achieveing the unique feat of holding that record for two clubs after achieveing the same feat during his time with Burnley.
