Ryan joined The Reds as a youngster and has risen through the ranks at The City Ground.

Having had loan spells with the likes of Barrow, Shrewsbury Town, Notts County and Scunthorpe United, he made his Forest debut in August 2018 against Bury in the Carabao Cup.

Yates has since made over 90 appearances for The Reds.
