Nigeria international forward Taiwo Awoniyi arrived on Trentside in June 2022 from Bundesliga side Union Berlin.
The forward began his professional career with Liverpool in 2015 before enjoying loan spells in Germany, Holland and Belgium.
Awoniyi scored his first goal for The Reds in a 1-0 win against West Ham United as Premier League football returned to The City Ground in August.
