1. This Policy

This Policy explains how Nottingham Forest Football Club Limited (the “Nottingham Forest FC”) sells tickets to matches taking place at The City Ground and at other places where its teams may be playing.

This Policy is designed to assist supporters by explaining Nottingham Forest FC’s Ticket Policy. It is subject to change at any time at the sole discretion of Nottingham Forest FC.
By purchasing, holding, or using a Season Card, Membership or Match Ticket, you are entering into a contract with Nottingham Forest FC based on the Season Card, Membership and Match Ticket Conditions of Issue (the “Conditions of Issue”) which are available for inspection on the Online Ticketing website.

In the event of any conflict between this Ticketing Policy and the Conditions of Issue, the Conditions of Issue shall prevail.

Capitalised words and expressions used in this Ticketing Policy shall have the same meanings as those used in the Conditions of Issue.

2. Home Matches

FA Premier League

Match Tickets will usually go on sale approximately 4-6 weeks before the fixture as follows:

  • Home MyForest Pro Members can purchase one Match Ticket per membership per membership during any of the sales period, however, are only guaranteed a ticket providing they purchase during their allotted 48-hour window
  • Home MyForest Plus Members can purchase one Match Ticket per membership during their specific sales period only as well as during the MyForest Members sales period, subject to availability
  • Home MyForest Members can purchase one Match Ticket per membership during their specific sales period only, subject to availability
  • Any remaining tickets available via returns, cancellations or seats listed via the Ticket Exchange will be available to all Home MyForest Members to purchase, regardless of the criteria we initially sold out at
  • Season Card holders cannot purchase any additional Match Tickets

For example, should we initially sell out for a high-profile fixture to MyForest Plus Members, and then tickets come available via returns, cancellations, internal releases or through seats listed on the Ticket Exchange, then these tickets will be available for all Home MyForest members to purchase (MyForest Pro, MyForest Plus, and MyForest Members).

Access to the Ticket Exchange for each respective fixture will be communicated accordingly, with full information provided on the Club’s official website.

For season 2024/25, we will also be balloting a portion of tickets to MyForest Members. The number of tickets balloted will vary from game to game depending on availability, however there will always be a portion of tickets held back to ensure that this ballot can be ran, thus ensuring that MyForest Members can obtain tickets.

Domestic Cup Matches

Season Card holders will usually have a period in which they can purchase their usual seat before all domestic cup Home Matches.

On sale dates will vary depending on the number of days Nottingham Forest FC has to sell Match Tickets, but sales will normally adhere to the following pattern:

  • There will be an initial selling period for Season Card holders to purchase their usual seat. Season Card holders who have not purchased within this reservation period or have been moved from the Bridgford Stand (where Nottingham Forest FC may be required to make these seats available to the Away Club) will be able to purchase the seats that are not taken by fellow Season Card holders in the reservation period
  • If Season Card holders do not purchase their usual seat in their specific window, they will be eligible to purchase a ticket during the remaining sales windows. Should their usual seat remain unpurchased, they can buy their usual seat, however if their seat has been purchased by another supporter, they must purchase another seat
  • All Home MyForest Members (MyForest Pro, MyForest Plus, and MyForest Members) can then purchase one Match Ticket per MyForest Membership, subject to availability
  • Non-Members with Previous Booking History can purchase one Match Ticket per account, subject to availability
  • Any remaining tickets will go on General Sale (maximum of one Match Ticket per person, subject to availability)
  • Subject to availability, Season Card holders and Home MyForest Members may be able to purchase additional Match Tickets however this will be dependent on the individual sales criteria for each fixture

Any discounted pricing structure for Domestic Cup Home Matches is subject to agreement prior to each Home Match with the Visiting Club, as per competition rules.

Domestic Cup Semi-Final/Final

Match Tickets for domestic cup finals (and FA cup semi-finals) will go on sale as follows:

  • Season Card holders will have priority first. This process will continue until all the Match Tickets are sold or all Season Card holders have had reasonable opportunity to apply for a Match Ticket
  • Once the Season Card holder sales period is complete, Home MyForest Members will be invited to apply
  • Subject to availability, for non-Season Card holders or non-Members, additional Match Tickets may be made available however this will be dependent on the individual sales criteria for any potential Semi-Final / Final

Please be advised that the sales criteria for any potential Domestic Cup Semi-Final/Final will be communicated retrospectively, and the above is just an outline.

3. Away Matches

FA Premier League

Match Tickets for FA Premier League Away Matches will go on sale approximately 4 weeks before the Match, however dates may vary.

Away Match Ticket allocation will be sold to Season Card holders with Away Membership, with tickets sold initially to supporters with Priority Plus and Priority One Away Membership, and then the remaining tickets ballot to Priority Two Away Members. There will also be a portion (100) of tickets balloted to Season Card holders without an Away membership.

Match Tickets will be sold as follows:

  • Priority Plus Away Members can only purchase one Match Ticket per person
  • Priority One Away Members can only purchase one Match Ticket per person
  • Priority Two Away Members can apply for one Match Ticket per person, and purchase one Match Ticket per person if successful via ballot
  • Season Card holders without an Away Membership can apply for one Match Ticket per person, and purchase one Match Ticket per person if successful via ballot
  • If we have still not sold out after the above, any remaining tickets will be sold to Season Card holders and then Home Members
  • Away Matches will NOT go on General Sale unless otherwise stated by Nottingham Forest FC acting at its sole discretion

Away Domestic Cup Matches (excluding FA Cup Final/League Cup Finals and FA Cup Semi-Finals)

First priority on domestic cup Away Match Tickets will be given to Priority Plus Away members. Supporters on this scheme will be given a priority window where they can purchase a Match Ticket.

Remaining Match Tickets will then be sold to Priority One Away Members, and then Priority Two Away Members, subject to demand and availability.

Any further tickets will then be sold to Season Card holders first, and then Home Membership holders before any potential General Sale period. For the avoidance of doubt, tickets sold during any potential General Sale period will only be sold to supporters on our existing database.

If demand for a UK Away Match outweighs supply, tickets will be sold to Priority Plus Away Members on a first come, first serve basis, and then if any availability remaining, sold to Priority One Away members on a first come, first serve basis.

Sales criteria for Away Domestic Cup Matches is subject to change, depending on the opponent, number of tickets allocated, and anticipated demand from supporters.

The sale of Match Tickets for League Cup Semi-Finals will follow the procedure set out above.

4. General

All Match Tickets on sale dates and times are subject to change.

Nottingham Forest FC reserves the right to review the number of Match Tickets Members/Season Card holders can purchase on a match-by-match basis.

There will be no downgrades on Season Cards or Match Tickets.

All ticket sales are subject to availability.

Supporters are reminded that Adults cannot use Concession Match Tickets or Season Cards to gain entry to the Ground.

Any Season Card holders who are displaced in the Ground due to outside broadcast requirements will be able to purchase an available seat elsewhere in a non-hospitality area within the Ground at their current seat price.

Nottingham Forest FC may (at its sole discretion and on a game-by-game basis as it sees fit):

  • post out Match Tickets for Away Matches out to supporters at an extra cost;
  • require supporters to provide additional information (such as ID), including by way of a ticket declaration form; and/or
  • require supporters to collect Match Tickets for Matches either from the Nottingham Forest Ticket Office with the fully completed declaration form or from a designated location in the location where the Away Match is due to take place.

Supporters who have their Away Match Tickets sent out by post should be aware that if these tickets are not received by 12pm on the last working day before the game, they should contact us to request duplicate tickets to be collected from the Away Club Ticket Office. If these tickets do not arrive in time, and then a duplicate isn’t requested, if a refund is then requested after the game has been played, Nottingham Forest FC reserves the right to decline such a request.

Supporters collecting Match Tickets from a designated location in the country where the Match is due to take place will need to provide photographic identification and proof of address at the point of collection to collect their Match Ticket(s).

To ensure that Match Tickets have not been transferred, supporters may be subject to a ticket check at the turnstiles by Nottingham Forest FC employees and/or officers. Therefore, all supporters will be required to be in possession of their Match Ticket and photographic ID when attending Matches.

5. Concessions

Senior citizens

If purchasing a Season Card, to qualify as a Senior Citizen, you must be 66 or over as of the 1st of August 2024.

If purchasing a ticket, the price class purchased must reflect whatever age the individual will be when attending the fixture. For example, if an individual is 65 years old at the time of purchasing, but turns 66 prior to the fixture date, then they must purchase a Senior (66+) ticket, so that the ticket reflects the age they are when attending the fixture.

Any Juvenile under the age of 14 years cannot attend our fixtures in the Lower Bridgford or Block A of the Peter Taylor Stand, even if accompanied by an individual over the age of 18.

If purchasing a ticket, the price class purchased must reflect whatever age the individual will be when attending the fixture. For example, if an individual is 17 years old at the time of purchasing, but turns 18 prior to the fixture date, then they must purchase an Adult (18-65) ticket, so that the ticket reflects the age they are when attending the fixture.

Or, if an individual is 13 years old at the time of purchasing, but turns 14 prior to the fixture date, then they must purchase a Youth (14-17) ticket, so that the ticket reflects the age that they are when attending the fixture.

Match Tickets can only be purchased at the price class that reflects the DOB of the individual purchasing, or the Adult rate.

6. Away Membership Scheme

The Away Membership scheme will continue to operate for all Nottingham Forest FC Season Card holders who hold an Away Membership.

Away Membership will be used to determine eligibility for Match Tickets to various Away Matches, as set out above. Priority on Away Match Tickets will be given to Away members with the Priority Plus Away Membership.

Priority One Members will be guaranteed an Away ticket for most Away Matches, but must attempt to purchase online, subject to availability and demand.

Should Priority Plus and Priority One Members not attend at least 14 Away Premier League fixtures during the season, the Club has the right to demote their Away Membership to the Priority Two tier for the following season.

Should Priority Two Members not attend at least 3 Away Premier League fixtures during the season, the Club has the right to not allow them to renew for the following season, enabling others to join instead.

Nottingham Forest FC reserves the right to allow Season Card holders without Away Membership, and afterwards, MyForest members, an opportunity to apply for the Members’ Away Match Ticket allocation should they not sell out in adequate time.

Away tickets purchased via a supporters’ Away Membership must be used by the individual who holds the Away Membership. Away Members will only be able to purchase the price class that is applicable to them. For example, if the Away Member is aged 30 years old, then they will only be able to purchase an Adult ticket, or if the Away Member is 17 years old, then they will only be able to purchase the relevant Youth rate ticket.

Away tickets cannot be passed on or re-sold to other supporters (including other Away Members). Should you wish to pass your Away ticket to another Away Member, you must email tickets@nottinghamforest.co.uk to provide us confirmation and their customer number, where this will then be transferred, and further instruction provided.

Any Away Members who pass on their Away tickets to other supporters (including other Away Members) without consulting Nottingham Forest FC may have their Away Membership revoked, as per our T&Cs.

Please be advised that all Away tickets purchased will be posted out for the 24/25 season, whilst no seat / group ticket requests will be accommodated. Only requests for accessible or safeguarding reasons will be facilitated.

Renewal of Away Membership for the 25/26 season is at Nottingham Forest FC’s discretion and sales criteria will be announced ahead of the following league campaign.

7. Disabled Supporters Application Process

Nottingham Forest FC reserves the right to request proof of disability before issuing a Season Card, Membership or Match Ticket for disabled supporters for the coming season. All applicants (including disabled Season Card holders and Members renewing) must email proof of disability valid within the last year when renewing their Season Card or Home Membership.

Proof of disability must include proof of one of the following:

(a)        receipt of the higher rate of the Disability Living Allowance (mobility or care component);

(b)        receipt of the enhanced rate of the daily living component of the Personal Independence Payment;

(c)        receipt of the enhanced rate of the mobility component of the Personal Independence Payment;

(d)        receipt of either the Severe Disablement Allowance, the Employment and Supporter Allowance or the Attendance Allowance; or

(e)        a copy of a local authority & visually impaired person’s registration card or a CVI document.

(f)         a copy of an entitlement to War Pensioners Mobility Supplement letter.

Please note that receipt of an Orange/Blue Badge will not be considered sufficient proof of disability.

Proof of disability for Away fixtures will vary depending on the Away Teams specification for eligible disabled supporters.

All existing disabled Members or disabled Season Card holders will be required to produce proof of disability.

8. Duplicate Tickets

Home matches

Season Card holders who DO NOT bring their Season Card with them on matchday must come into the Ticket Office to request a duplicate Match Ticket, ensuring to provide valid photographic proof of ID when doing so. A duplicate Match Ticket will then be issued, where an administration fee (£5.00) will be charged. The duplicate Match Ticket will then be issued to the supporter.

Supporters who DO NOT bring their Match Tickets with them or where the Match Tickets have not been received must contact the Ticket Office to request a duplicate Match Ticket. A duplicate Match Ticket will be issued free of charge, where it will then be issued to the supporter.

From 3 hours before kick-off, supporters must come to the Ticket Office to request a duplicate Match Ticket. A duplicate Match Ticket will be issued free of charge to the supporter. Valid photographic proof of ID is essential.

Only the supporter in whose name the Season Card/Match Ticket was issued will be able to be issued any replacement Match Ticket.

Away matches

Supporters who have purchased but not received Match Tickets for an Away Match must contact Nottingham Forest FC by 12pm on the last working day before the Match in order to request a duplicate Away Match Ticket. A request will then be sent to the Hosting Club and a duplicate Away Match Ticket will be made available for collection at the Home Club’s Ticket Office. All supporters must attend the relevant Hosting Club’s Ticket Office on the day of the Match with photographic proof of ID to collect the replacement Away Match Ticket(s).

Supporters are advised that any request for duplicate tickets will be logged and sent to the Hosting Club by 5pm the day prior to the fixture. Should the original tickets then be received / found on the day of the game, the duplicate tickets must still be collected, as the tickets may have already been reprinted by the Hosting Club, thus rendering the original tickets invalid.

Supporters who have not received or have lost their Away Match Tickets and have not reported this to the Nottingham Forest FC Ticket Office during the normal office opening hours should contact the Nottingham Forest FC Ticket Office email address tickets@nottinghamforest.co.uk to request a duplicate ticket, as this email address is manned on Away Matchdays.

Duplicate Season Cards

Season Card holders who have lost or damaged their Season Cards must contact the Ticket Office. A duplicate Season Card may be issued by Nottingham Forest FC acting in its sole discretion. A £10.00 charge will be applied. The replacement Season Card will then be posted out to the address registered against the Season Card holders account or held for collection.

9. Seat Moves/Name Changes

In the event that a Season Card holder wishes to move their seat within the Ground, they must renew their existing seat to retain their Season Card holder status. If applicable, a relocation period will be communicated. Nottingham Forest FC does not guarantee it will be able to accommodate every (if any) seat move request and each such request will be processed on a first come, first serve basis, subject to availability. Outside of the dedicated relocation period, Nottingham Forest FC will only accept such requests on medical grounds. Nottingham Forest FC reserves the right to reject any requested seat move at is sole discretion.

Season Card Holders who do not wish to renew their Season Card may not request a name change or transfer for the forthcoming season to another supporter.

Nottingham Forest FC will only accept such requests if the supporter is deceased, under such circumstances a death certificate and if applicable, a probate letter, will be required before any transfer will be facilitated.

Season Cards held in a business name must be in the name of a company or partnership registered at Companies House. If you wish to apply for a Season Card as a sole trader, you must hold the Season Card in your personal name, not in your trading name.

Seat moves on a match-by-match basis are not facilitated for Season Card holders, unless in special circumstances such as if seats are needed for medical reasons or due to an injury, in which case, an email request should be sent to accessibility@nottinghamforest.co.uk where further information will then be provided.

All seat moves and name changes are at the absolute discretion of Nottingham Forest FC.

10. Season Card Upgrades / Forwarding

Your Season Card is issued for your use only and you shall not sell, assign, or transfer your Season Card to any other person. Should you be unable to attend any particular Match, you can:

Any attempt by any such individual to enter the Ground without paying this increase in price, shall be a breach of our Conditions of Issue and shall permit NFFC to take any of the action detailed in paragraph 11.3 of the Conditions of Issue.  In circumstances where another individual would be liable to pay a lower Season Card price than you, were they to purchase the Season Card themselves (owing to them falling into a different age category to yourself) neither you nor any other individual shall be entitled to any rebate or refund from NFFC. You shall ensure that any individual(s) shall not sell, assign, or transfer your Season Card to any other person.
